My friend / Neighbor / Kid next door has offered to DJ my party for $300, why are you more expensive?

This is a hard question for people to always accept the answer to.  Quite simply, you get what you pay for.
There is nothing wrong with the hobbyist DJ who does not charge much for his/her services.  However, Instinctive
DJ’S is a fully insured company. There is a level of quality at our parties that you cannot expect from those
DJ's.  Instinctive DJ’S is more than just a CD Player Controller.  Your DJ will react to the tone of your party, adjust music
to meet the crowd, and will motivate people to dance and have fun.  Your DJ will also help you plan your Entrances, as well
as make and coordinate any announcements or other activities in your party.  There is a lot of planning that goes into
your party, and Instinctive DJ’S is here to help you make your day memorable and stress free.

experience.  This is what you are paying for, and you can expect nothing less.

 

What payment methods do you take?

We take cash, visa, master card, Discover, Paypal, money orders, certified, business & personal checks
(personal checks can only be used for deposits)

 

 

Is a Deposit required to book a party?

All parties require an advance deposit of 20% of the total balance of your party.  We will send you a
Contract for our services when you book your party.  Please return the signed contract with your deposit as
soon as possible, so that we can secure your date.  There are payment plans available to help you.  The
balance is due on the date of the party prior to the start of your event.  It is never too early to book your
party - save that date!!!

 

What areas do Instinctive DJ’S service?

Our core area is all of NJ, NY, PA and surrounding areas.  However, Instinctive DJ’S will always offer pricing
options for the DJ to travel out of the core area.

 

 

What is your policy on deposits?

When you book Instinctive DJ’S, we will require a deposit and a signed contract which we will send you.
When this deposit is received with the signed contract, we will secure your date.  This means that we will
commit to your party and may turn away other clients who ask us for the same date.  This makes the deposits
non-refundable, but 100% of your deposit is counted towards the total balance of your party.  We do not add
any administrative fees to processing and holding your deposit.

 

 

What can I expect from my DJ?

Your DJ will arrive at the party at about an hour prior to the start of the event.  This is to set up the equipment
and prepare for any last minute changes you may have.  Please make sure the event hall is accessible at this
time. Your DJ will coordinate your party from start to finish, arranging entrances and special announcements,
and accepting requests from you and your guests. The DJ will also MC any activities during the party, such as
games for Kids, and ceremonies such as the cake cutting.  Your DJ will also teach line-dances and motivate the
crowd.  Audience participation is our specialty.

 

Can I make requests?

YES, your DJ will always accept requests.  We will show up to your party with an on-site library of over
20,000 songs.  Most requests are accommodated, but on rare-occasions a request might not be on site.
HOWEVER, if you know of a special song that you will want to hear, we are pleased to inform you that 99.9%
of all requests made prior to the event are guaranteed.  We will check and make sure to bring the songs that you
request in advance.
